  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code EXTID_ID in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new external identification type. 
  3. Enter the required information such as the name of the external identification type, description, and other details. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the new external identification type. 
  5. Select “Assign” to assign an external identification number to a customer, vendor, or other business partner. 
  6. Enter the required information such as the customer/vendor/business partner name and the external identification number. 
  7. Select “Save” to save the assignment of the external identification number.
