  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code E43E is used to activate meter reading units in the SAP system. This code is used to set up and maintain the meter reading units that are used to measure the consumption of materials or services. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The E43E transaction code allows users to create, change, and delete meter reading units. It also allows users to assign a meter reading unit to a material or service, as well as assign a unit of measure for the meter reading unit. Additionally, users can view and maintain the meter readings for each meter reading unit. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code E43E in the command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the required information for the new meter reading unit, such as name, description, and unit of measure. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the new meter reading unit. 
  5. To assign a meter reading unit to a material or service, select “Assign” from the menu bar and enter the required information. 
  6. To view and maintain the meter readings for each meter reading unit, select “Meter Readings” from the menu bar and enter the required information. 
  7. Select “Save” to save any changes made to the meter readings.
