  1. Enter the YINC007 transaction code into the command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a name for the data type and select “Continue”. 
  4. Enter the length of the data type and select “Continue”.

  6. Enter a description for the data type and select “Save”. 
  7. Select “Assign Data Type” from the menu bar. 
  8. Select a field from the list and select “Continue”. 
  9. Select a data type from the drop-down menu and select “Save”. 
  10. Select “Display” from the menu bar to view all of your changes.
