  Overview: 
  The SAP transaction code WCM1 is used to define the area of responsibility for the Change Management (CM) process. This process is used to manage changes to the SAP system, such as adding new users or changing existing user roles. The WCM1 transaction code allows users to assign a responsible person or team for each change request.

  The WCM1 transaction code allows users to define the area of responsibility for the Change Management process. This includes assigning a responsible person or team for each change request. The responsible person or team will be responsible for approving and implementing the change request.   Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code WCM1 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Define CM Area of Responsibility” option from the menu. 
  3. Enter the name of the responsible person or team for each change request in the “Responsible Person/Team” field. 
  4. Enter the authorization level for each change request in the “Authorization Level” field. 
  5. Enter the approval process for each change request in the “Approval Process” field. 
  6. Click “Save” to save your changes.
