  Overview:
  TBD6 is a transaction code used in SAP systems to manage log files. It is used to view, delete, and archive log files. It also allows users to set up the log file parameters and to define the log file name. 
  
  Functionality: 
  TBD6 provides users with the ability to view, delete, and archive log files. It also allows users to set up the log file parameters and to define the log file name. The transaction code also provides users with the ability to view the contents of a log file and to delete a log file. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter TBD6 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Log File Administration” option from the menu. 
  3. Select the “View Log File” option from the menu. 
  4. Enter the name of the log file you want to view in the “Log File Name” field. 
  5. Select “Execute” to view the contents of the log file. 
  6. To delete a log file, select “Delete Log File” from the menu and enter the name of the log file you want to delete in the “Log File Name” field. 
  7. Select “Execute” to delete the log file. 
  8. To archive a log file, select “Archive Log File” from the menu and enter the name of the log file you want to archive in the “Log File Name” field. 
  9. Select “Execute” to archive the log file. 
  10. To set up parameters for a log file, select “Set Up Log File Parameters” from the menu and enter the name of the log file you want to set up parameters for in the “Log File Name” field. 
  11. Select “Execute” to set up parameters for a log file. 
  12. To define a new log file name, select “Define Log File Name” from the menu and enter a new name for your log file in the “New Log File Name” field. 
  13. Select “Execute” to define a new log file name. 
  14. To exit TBD6, select “Back” or press F3 on your keyboard until you are back at SAP Easy Access screen or press F12 on your keyboard if you are using SAP GUI for Windows version 7 or higher versions of SAP GUI for Windows software package .  
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is recommended that users back up their data before using TBD6 as it can be used to delete or archive important data files that may be needed later on in order for certain processes or functions within SAP systems to work properly or as expected by users or administrators of SAP systems .
