This transaction code is part of the Authorization Management component and is available within the SAP_ABA application package.

    Functionality:
TBC3 allows users to create and maintain standard roles in the system. These roles are used to assign authorization profiles to users, which control what functions they can access in the system. The roles can be assigned to multiple users, allowing for efficient management of user access rights.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter TBC3 into the command field and press enter.
    2. Select “Create” from the menu bar.
    3. Enter a name for the role and select “Standard Role” from the drop-down menu.
    4. Select “Save” from the menu bar.
    5. Assign authorization profiles to the role by selecting “Assign Authorization Profiles” from the menu bar.
    6. Select the authorization profiles you want to assign and click “Save”.
    7. Assign users to the role by selecting “Assign Users” from the menu bar.
    8. Select the users you want to assign and click “Save”.
    9. Select “Activate” from the menu bar to activate the role in the system.

    Other Recommendations:
It is recommended that users regularly review their roles and authorization profiles to ensure that they have appropriate access rights in the system. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all users have been assigned appropriate roles and authorization profiles before activating them in the system, as this will prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data or functions in SAP systems.
