  1. Enter the transaction code S_AHR_61001197 into the command field in SAP. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  3. Enter a name for the new cost center group and select “Save”. 
  4. Select “Assign Cost Centers” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  5. Select the cost centers you want to assign to this cost center group and select “Save”. 
  6. Select “Assign Controlling Area” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  7. Select a controlling area from the list and select “Save”. 
  8. Select “Assign Cost Element Group” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  9. Select a cost element group from the list and select “Save”. 
  10. Select “Activate” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to activate your changes and save them permanently in SAP.
