  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code SCMSIP is used to view the locations of IP subnets in the SAP system. It is a part of the System Change and Transport System (CTS) and is used to manage the transport of changes between different SAP systems. 
  
  Functionality: 
  SCMSIP allows users to view the locations of IP subnets in the SAP system. It also provides information about the IP addresses, subnets, and networks associated with each location. This information can be used to troubleshoot network issues or to configure new networks. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code SCMSIP in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Locations” tab. 
  3. Select a location from the list of available locations. 
  4. The IP address, subnet, and network associated with that location will be displayed. 
  5. To view additional information about a location, select the “Details” tab. 
  6. To view additional information about an IP address, select the “IP Addresses” tab. 
  7. To view additional information about a subnet, select the “Subnets” tab. 
  8. To view additional information about a network, select the “Networks” tab. 
  9. When finished, select “Back” to return to the main screen or “Exit” to exit the transaction code. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with the CTS before using SCMSIP as it will provide a better understanding of how changes are transported between different SAP systems and how SCMSIP can be used to manage these changes.
