     Objects

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code REAT0103 is used to create and maintain field groups for authorization objects. It is part of the Authorization Management (AM) module. Field groups are used to group fields of an authorization object together, allowing for easier maintenance and authorization checks.

    Functionality:
REAT0103 allows users to create and maintain field groups for authorization objects. This includes creating new field groups, assigning fields to the field group, and changing the order of the fields in the group. The field groups can then be used in authorization checks, allowing users to check multiple fields at once instead of having to check each field individually.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter transaction code REAT0103 in the command field.
    2. Select “Create” from the menu bar.
    3. Enter a name for the new field group and select “Save”.
    4. Select “Assign Fields” from the menu bar.
    5. Select the fields you want to assign to the field group and select “Save”.
    6. Select “Change Order” from the menu bar if you want to change the order of the fields in the group.
    7. Select “Save” when you are done making changes.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that changes made in REAT0103 will not take effect until a system restart has been performed. Additionally, it is recommended that users test any changes made in REAT0103 before implementing them in a production environment, as incorrect settings can lead to unexpected results or errors when performing authorization checks.
