  SAP transaction code QP48 is used to create and maintain number ranges for material samples. This transaction code is used to assign a unique number to each sample, which can then be used to track the sample throughout its lifecycle.

  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code QP48 in the SAP command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new number range for a material sample. 
  3. Enter the desired number range in the “Number Range” field. 
  4. Select the “Save” button to save the new number range. 
  5. To edit an existing number range, select the “Change” button and enter the desired changes in the appropriate fields. 
  6. To delete an obsolete number range, select the “Delete” button and confirm the deletion by selecting “Yes” in the confirmation window. 
  7. Select the “Save” button to save any changes made to an existing number range or confirm deletion of an obsolete one.
