QDA1 - Details

  • SAP Tcode: QDA1 - Edit sampling type

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code QDA1 is used to edit sampling types in the Quality Management (QM) module. It allows users to create, change, and delete sampling types for inspection lots.

    Functionality:
QDA1 enables users to define the sampling procedure for a particular inspection lot. This includes setting the sample size, the number of samples to be taken, and the criteria for acceptance or rejection. The sampling type can also be used to determine the inspection points and the inspection characteristics that will be used in the inspection process.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
To use QDA1, users must first select the sampling type they wish to edit. Once selected, they can then make changes to the sampling type, such as changing the sample size or adding new inspection points. Finally, users can save their changes and exit the transaction code.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that changes made in QDA1 will only take effect after a new inspection lot is created. Additionally, users should be aware that changes made in QDA1 may affect other areas of Quality Management, such as Quality Notifications or Quality Certificates. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested before they are implemented in a production environment.
