  Overview: 
  PT42 is a transaction code used in SAP Human Resources (HR) module. It is used to supply personnel data from the Personnel Administration (PA) infotype to the Organizational Management (OM) infotype. 
  
  Functionality: 
  This transaction code allows users to transfer personnel data from the PA infotype to the OM infotype. This includes data such as employee name, address, and other personal information. The data is then used for organizational management purposes, such as creating organizational structures and assigning employees to positions. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code PT42 in the command field. 
  2. Select the personnel number of the employee whose data you want to transfer. 
  3. Select the infotype from which you want to transfer the data (PA). 
  4. Select the infotype to which you want to transfer the data (OM). 
  5. Select the fields you want to transfer from PA to OM. 
  6. Click “Transfer” to complete the process.
