  1. Enter the transaction code OVTY in the command field of the SAP system. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a name for the new transport category and select “Save”. 
  4. Select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the name of the transport category you want to change. 
  5. Make any necessary changes and select “Save”. 
  6. Select “Delete” from the menu bar and enter the name of the transport category you want to delete. 
  7. Select “Yes” when prompted to confirm deletion of the transport category. 
  8. Select “Assign” from the menu bar and enter the name of the object you want to assign a transport category to. 
  9. Select
