  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code OVS1 is used to maintain matchcodes for materials in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module. Matchcodes are used to search for materials in the system quickly and accurately. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The OVS1 transaction code allows users to create, change, and delete matchcodes for materials in the SD module. It also allows users to view existing matchcodes and their associated material numbers. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code OVS1 into the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” option to create a new matchcode for a material. 
  3. Enter the material number and description of the material you want to create a matchcode for. 
  4. Enter the matchcode you want to use for the material. 
  5. Select “Save” to save your changes. 
  6. To view existing matchcodes, select the “Display” option and enter the material number you want to view. 
  7. To change or delete an existing matchcode, select the “Change” or “Delete” option and enter the material number you want to change or delete. 
  8. Select “Save” to save your changes or “Cancel” to cancel your changes.
