  Overview: 
  The SAP transaction code OVAW - C SD Tab. PTM Item Category Groups is used to maintain item category groups in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module. It allows users to define item category groups for pricing and other sales-related activities. 
  
  Functionality: 
  This transaction code enables users to create, change, and delete item category groups in the SD module. It also allows users to assign item categories to the item category groups, as well as assign pricing conditions and other sales-related activities to the item category groups. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code OVAW - C SD Tab. PTM Item Category Groups into the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new item category group. 
  3. Enter a name for the item category group and select “Save”. 
  4. Select the “Change” button to edit an existing item category group. 
  5. Select the “Delete” button to delete an existing item category group. 
  6. Assign item categories to the item category group by selecting the “Assign Item Categories” button. 
  7. Assign pricing conditions and other sales-related activities to the item category group by selecting the “Assign Pricing Conditions” button. 
  8. Select “Save” when finished making changes or additions to the item category group.
