  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code OPD4 is used to create and maintain resource planning period profiles. This profile is used to define the time periods for resource planning in the system.

  1. Enter transaction code OPD4 in the command field.

  5. Select a length for each period from the drop-down menu in the “Period Length” field. 
  6. Enter a start date for each period in the “Start Date” field. 
  7. Enter an end date for each period in the “End Date” field. 
  8. Specify the number of periods that should be included in the profile in the “Number of Periods” field.
