  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code OIOS is used to set the default planning indicator for a material. This indicator is used to determine the planning strategy for the material and can be changed at any time. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The OIOS transaction code allows users to set the default planning indicator for a material. This indicator is used to determine the planning strategy for the material and can be changed at any time. The indicator can be set to either “A” (automatic) or “M” (manual). If the indicator is set to “A”, then the system will automatically generate a plan for the material based on its current stock levels and demand. If the indicator is set to “M”, then the user must manually create a plan for the material. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code OIOS in the command field. 
  2. Enter the material number in the Material field. 
  3. Select either “A” or “M” in the Default Planning Indicator field. 
  4. Click Save to save your changes.
