  • SAP Tcode: OIMP - Priority Types

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code OIMP is used to maintain priority types in the system. It is used to define the different types of priorities that can be assigned to objects in the system.

    Functionality:
The OIMP transaction code allows users to create, change, and delete priority types. It also allows users to assign a priority type to an object, such as a customer order or a material. The priority type can then be used to determine the order in which objects are processed.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter the transaction code OIMP in the command field.
    2. Select the “Create” button to create a new priority type.
    3. Enter the name and description of the priority type.
    4. Select “Save” to save the new priority type.
    5. To assign a priority type to an object, select the “Assign” button and enter the object ID and priority type ID.
    6. Select “Save” to save the assignment.
    7. To delete a priority type, select the “Delete” button and enter the priority type ID.
    8. Select “Save” to delete the priority type from the system.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that when deleting a priority type, all objects that have been assigned that priority type will also be deleted from the system. Therefore, it is recommended that users take caution when deleting priority types from the system.
