    Functionality:
The OFMG transaction code allows users to define the message types and the message recipients for each message type. This includes defining the message text, the recipient type (e.g. user, role, etc.), and the recipient address (e.g. email address). The messages can be sent via email or SMS.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter transaction code OFMG in the command field of the SAP system.

    3. Select “Create” to create a new message type.

    8. Enter a name for the message text and select “Save”.
    9. Select “Send Message” from the menu bar to send a message using this message type and recipient combination.
    10. Enter a subject line, enter your message text, and select “Send” to send your message.

    Other Recommendations:
It is recommended that users test their messages before sending them out to ensure that they are properly formatted and that all of the necessary information is included in the message text. Additionally, users should be aware of any restrictions on sending messages (e.g., size limits) that may be imposed by their organization or by their SAP system configuration settings.
