  3. Enter a name for the new depreciation area and select “Create” again. 
  4. Select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the name of the new area you just created. 
  5. Select “Assign Company Code” from the menu bar and enter the company code you want to assign this area to. 
  6. Select “Define Depreciation Key” from the menu bar and enter a valid depreciation key for this area. 
  7. Select “Set Up Depreciation Terms” from the menu bar and enter valid values for each asset class you want to assign this area to. 
  8. Select “Save” from the menu bar when you are done making changes.
