  Overview:
  NMR0 is a transaction code used in SAP to maintain the material master records. It is used to create, change, and display material master data. It is also used to create and maintain material master records for both finished goods and raw materials. 
  
  Functionality: 
  NMR0 allows users to create, change, and display material master records. It also allows users to assign material types, view material descriptions, and assign material groups. Additionally, it allows users to assign storage locations, view material availability, and assign purchasing data. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code NMR0 in the command field. 
  2. Enter the material number in the Material field. 
  3. Select the appropriate Material Type from the drop-down list. 
  4. Enter a description of the material in the Description field. 
  5. Assign a Material Group from the drop-down list. 
  6. Assign a Storage Location from the drop-down list. 
  7. Enter any relevant purchasing data in the Purchasing Data tab. 
  8. Save your changes by clicking on the Save button at the top of the screen. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all of the tabs available in NMR0 before making any changes to a material master record. Additionally, it is recommended that users make sure all of their changes are saved before exiting out of NMR0 to ensure that their changes are not lost or overwritten by another user's changes.
