  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code JYV5 is used to maintain number ranges for containers in the Inventory Management (IM) module. This code is used to create and manage the number ranges for containers, which are used to store and transport goods. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The JYV5 transaction code allows users to create and manage number ranges for containers. This includes creating new number ranges, changing existing ones, and deleting obsolete ones. The code also allows users to view the current status of the number range and to check if a particular container is assigned to a specific number range. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the JYV5 transaction code in the SAP command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the details of the new number range, such as its name, description, and start and end numbers. 
  4. Select “Save” to save the new number range. 
  5. To change an existing number range, select “Change” from the menu bar and enter the details of the changes you want to make. 
  6. To delete an obsolete number range, select “Delete” from the menu bar and enter the name of the number range you want to delete. 
  7. To view the current status of a number range, select “Display” from the menu bar and enter the name of the number range you want to view.
