Characteristic groups are used to group materials with similar characteristics, such as color, size, or style. This allows for easier management of materials in the RM-MAT module. Functionality: The JBWG transaction code allows users to create and maintain characteristic groups for materials in the RM-MAT module. This includes creating new characteristic groups, editing existing ones, and deleting them. The JBWG transaction code also allows users to assign materials to a characteristic group, as well as view and edit the characteristics of a material. Step-by-step How to Use: 1. To create a new characteristic group, enter the JBWG transaction code in the command field and press enter. 2. Select “Create” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 3. Enter a name for the new characteristic group and select “Save”. 4. To assign materials to a characteristic group, select “Assign Materials” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 5. Select the materials you want to assign to the characteristic group and select “Save”. 6. To view or edit the characteristics of a material, select “View/Edit Characteristics” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 7. Select the material whose characteristics you want to view or edit and select “Save” when you are finished making changes.
