    The SAP transaction code J1GVL_S17 is used to open production orders (WIP) in the SAP system. This transaction code allows users to view and edit production orders, as well as create new ones.

    This transaction code provides users with the ability to view and edit existing production orders, as well as create new ones. It also allows users to view the status of production orders, such as whether they are open or closed. Additionally, users can view the materials and components associated with each production order. 
    
    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter the transaction code J1GVL_S17 into the command field in the SAP system. 
    2. Select the “Production Order” tab in the top menu bar. 
    3. Select “Create” from the drop-down menu to create a new production order. 
    4. Enter the necessary information for the production order, such as material, quantity, and date of completion. 
    5. Select “Save” to save the production order. 
    6. To view or edit an existing production order, select “Display” from the drop-down menu and enter the production order number. 
    7. To view the status of a production order, select “Status” from the drop-down menu and enter the production order number. 
    8. To view materials and components associated with a production order, select “Components” from the drop-down menu and enter the production order number. 
    9. When finished, select “Back” to return to
