  Overview: 
  HDM_CUST is a SAP transaction code used to define the configuration of the Human Development Management (HDM) module. This module is used to manage personnel data and processes related to human resources. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The HDM_CUST transaction code allows users to define the configuration of the HDM module. This includes setting up the organizational structure, defining personnel areas and subareas, and creating personnel numbers. It also allows users to set up the payroll area, define wage types, and configure the time management system. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the HDM_CUST transaction code in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Organizational Structure” tab and enter the necessary information for setting up the organizational structure. 
  3. Select the “Personnel Areas/Subareas” tab and enter the necessary information for defining personnel areas and subareas. 
  4. Select the “Personnel Numbers” tab and enter the necessary information for creating personnel numbers. 
  5. Select the “Payroll Area” tab and enter the necessary information for setting up the payroll area. 
  6. Select the “Wage Types” tab and enter the necessary information for defining wage types. 
  7. Select the “Time Management System” tab and enter the necessary information for configuring the time management system. 
  8. Save your changes when you are finished.
