    Overview:
The SAP transaction code GJVL is used to create and maintain layout sets for journal entries. Layout sets are used to define the structure of journal entries, including the fields that appear in the entry and the order in which they appear. This transaction code is part of the Financial Accounting (FI) module.

    Functionality:
GJVL allows users to create and maintain layout sets for journal entries. Layout sets are used to define the structure of journal entries, including the fields that appear in the entry and the order in which they appear. This transaction code also allows users to assign layout sets to specific company codes, so that different companies can have different layouts for their journal entries.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter GJVL into the SAP command field and press enter.
    2. Select “Create” from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
    3. Enter a name for your layout set and select “Save”.
    4. Select “Layout” from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
    5. Select “New Entries” from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

    10. Select which company codes you want to assign your layout set to and select “Save”.
    11. Select “Back” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to return to your list of layout sets.

    Other Recommendations:
It is recommended that users test their layout sets before assigning them to company codes, as any errors or omissions may cause problems when creating journal entries in SAP. Additionally, users should be aware that changes made to a layout set will affect all company codes assigned to it, so any changes should be carefully considered before being implemented.
