  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code FMCCAVCDERIACTG is used to derive activity groups in the Controlling (CO) module. It is used to assign activity groups to cost centers and other objects in the system. 
  
  Functionality: 
  This transaction code allows users to assign activity groups to cost centers and other objects in the system. It also allows users to define the derivation rules for the activity groups. The derivation rules are used to determine which activity group should be assigned to a particular cost center or object. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code FMCCAVCDERIACTG into the command field. 
  2. Select the “Derivation Rules” tab. 
  3. Select the “Create” button to create a new derivation rule. 
  4. Enter the details of the derivation rule, such as the name, description, and criteria for assigning an activity group. 
  5. Select the “Save” button to save the derivation rule. 
  6. Select the “Assign” tab and select the “Assign Activity Group” button to assign an activity group to a cost center or object based on the derivation rule that was created in step 4. 
  7. Enter the details of the cost center or object that you want to assign an activity group to and select “Save” when finished. 
  8. Select “Back” when finished assigning activity groups and select “Execute” when prompted.
