    Overview:
The SAP transaction code FF.1 is used to maintain the standard interest scale for general ledger accounts. This transaction code is used to define the interest rate that will be applied to a G/L account balance when calculating the interest due.

    Functionality:
The FF.1 transaction code allows users to define the interest rate that will be applied to a G/L account balance when calculating the interest due. This transaction code also allows users to define the minimum and maximum balance for which the interest rate will be applied. Additionally, users can specify the date from which the interest rate will be applied.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter transaction code FF.1 in the command field of the SAP Easy Access screen.
    2. Enter the G/L account number for which you want to define an interest rate in the Account field.
    3. Enter the interest rate in the Interest Rate field.
    4. Enter the minimum and maximum balance for which this interest rate will be applied in the Minimum Balance and Maximum Balance fields respectively.
    5. Enter the date from which this interest rate will be applied in the Date From field.
    6. Click on Save to save your changes or click on Cancel to discard them.

    Other Recommendations:
It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all of the fields available in this transaction code before making any changes, as incorrect entries may lead to incorrect calculations of interest due on G/L accounts. Additionally, users should ensure that they have sufficient authorization before making any changes in this transaction code, as unauthorized changes may lead to financial losses for an organization.
