  1. Enter the transaction code F1583C in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new functional area. 
  3. Enter a name for the new functional area and select “Save”. 
  4. Select the “Change” button to edit an existing functional area. 
  5. Enter the name of the existing functional area and select “Save”. 
  6. Select the “Assign Authorization Profiles” button to assign authorization profiles to a functional area. 
  7. Select the authorization profile you want to assign and select “Save”. 
  8. Select the “Display” button to view a list of all functional areas in the system. 
  9. Select a functional area from the list and select “Display” to view its details. 
  10. Select the “Delete” button
