    Overview:
    The SAP transaction code EL57 is used to display period consumption in the SAP system. It is a part of the Logistics Execution (LE) module and is used to view the consumption of materials in a given period. 
    
    Functionality: 
    EL57 allows users to view the consumption of materials in a given period. This includes the quantity of materials consumed, the unit of measure, and the total cost of the materials consumed. The data can be filtered by material, plant, and storage location. 
    
    Step-by-step How to Use: 
    1. Enter transaction code EL57 in the command field. 
    2. Enter the material number, plant, and storage location in the selection screen. 
    3. Select the period for which you want to view consumption data. 
    4. Click on execute to view the consumption data for that period.
