    Overview:

    To use the IRF Modeling Tool, follow these steps 
    1. Open the SAP GUI and enter the transaction code DTINF_MODELING. 
    2. The IRF Modeling Tool will open in a new window. 
    3. To create a new model, click on the “Create” button in the toolbar. 
    4. Enter a name for the model and click “OK”. 
    5. To add data elements to the model, click on the “Data Elements” tab in the left pane of the window. 
    6. Select the desired data elements from the list and click “Add” to add them to the model. 
    7. To define relationships between elements, click on the “Relationships” tab in the left pane of the window. 
    8. Select two elements from the list and click “Add” to define a relationship between them. 
    9. To define rules for validating data, click on the “Rules” tab in the left pane of the window. 
    10. Select a rule type from the list and enter parameters for it in the right pane of the window. 
    11. Click “Save” to save your changes to the model. 
    12. To run a validation test on your model, click on the “Validate” button in the toolbar. 
    13. The results of the validation test will be displayed in a new window. 
    14. To close the IRF Modeling Tool, click on the “Close” button in the toolbar or select “File > Exit” from the menu bar at the top of the window.  
    
    Other Recommendations: 
    It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all of the features of the IRF Modeling Tool before attempting to create or modify models with it. Additionally, users should always save their work frequently while using this tool, as any unsaved changes will be lost when exiting it or closing their session with SAP GUI.
