  • SAP Tcode: CXSB - Change Set Maintenance

    Overview:
CXSB is an SAP transaction code used to maintain change sets in the SAP system. Change sets are collections of objects that are used to transport changes from one system to another. This transaction code allows users to create, edit, and delete change sets.

    Functionality:
CXSB provides users with the ability to maintain change sets in the SAP system. This includes creating new change sets, editing existing ones, and deleting them. The transaction code also allows users to view the contents of a change set and add or remove objects from it.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter the transaction code CXSB into the command field.
    2. Select the “Create” option to create a new change set.
    3. Enter a name for the change set and select the objects you want to include in it.
    4. Select “Save” to save the change set.
    5. To edit an existing change set, select the “Change” option and enter the name of the change set you want to edit.
    6. Make any necessary changes and select “Save” when you are finished.
    7. To delete a change set, select the “Delete” option and enter the name of the change set you want to delete.
    8. Confirm that you want to delete the change set and select “Yes” when prompted.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that once a change set has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, it is recommended that users take caution when deleting change sets and only do so when absolutely necessary. Additionally, users should ensure that all changes made to a change set are saved before exiting the transaction code as any unsaved changes will be lost when exiting CXSB.
