CO32 - Details

  • SAP Tcode: CO32 - Change standard trigger point

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code CO32 is used to change the standard trigger point for a maintenance order. This transaction code is used to set the trigger point for a maintenance order, which is the point at which the system will automatically generate a notification for the order.

    Functionality:
The CO32 transaction code allows users to set the trigger point for a maintenance order. This can be done by entering the order number and selecting the desired trigger point from a list of available options. The trigger point can be set to any of the following start of work, completion of work, or completion of inspection. Once the trigger point is set, the system will automatically generate a notification when that trigger point is reached.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter transaction code CO32 in the command field.
    2. Enter the maintenance order number in the Order field.
    3. Select the desired trigger point from the list of available options.
    4. Click “Save” to save your changes.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that once a trigger point has been set, it cannot be changed without deleting and recreating the maintenance order. Additionally, it is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all available options before setting a trigger point, as this will ensure that they are selecting the most appropriate option for their needs.
