Smart SAP Assistant

  • SAP Tcode: CLHP - Graphical Hierarchy Maintenance

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code CLHP is used to maintain graphical hierarchies in the SAP system. It allows users to create, edit, and delete graphical hierarchies, which are used to represent relationships between different objects in the system.

    Functionality:
The CLHP transaction code provides a graphical interface for creating and editing hierarchies. It allows users to create new hierarchies, add nodes to existing hierarchies, and delete nodes from existing hierarchies. The graphical interface makes it easy to visualize the relationships between different objects in the system.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter the CLHP transaction code into the command field of the SAP system.
    2. Select the “Create” option to create a new hierarchy or select the “Change” option to edit an existing hierarchy.
    3. Enter the name of the hierarchy you want to create or edit.
    4. Select the “Add Node” option to add a node to an existing hierarchy or select the “Delete Node” option to delete a node from an existing hierarchy.
    5. Enter the name of the node you want to add or delete and click “OK”.
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have finished creating or editing your hierarchy.
    7. Click “Save” when you are finished creating or editing your hierarchy.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that changes made using the CLHP transaction code are not automatically saved in the system; users must manually save their changes before exiting the transaction code. Additionally, it is recommended that users test their changes in a test environment before making them in a production environment, as changes made using this transaction code can have significant impacts on other parts of the system.
