  Overview: 
  CAT2 is an SAP transaction code used to maintain timesheets in the SAP system. It is used to record and track employee working hours, overtime, and absences. This transaction code is part of the Time Management module in the Human Resources (HR) component of the SAP system. 
  
  Functionality: 
  CAT2 allows users to enter and maintain timesheets for employees. It can be used to record employee working hours, overtime, and absences. The data entered in CAT2 is used to calculate payroll and other HR related activities. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code CAT2 in the command field. 
  2. Enter the employee’s personnel number in the Personnel Number field. 
  3. Enter the date range for which you want to maintain timesheets in the Date Range field. 
  4. Enter the employee’s working hours, overtime, and absences in the appropriate fields. 
  5. Save your changes by clicking on the Save button. 
  6. To view a summary of all timesheets maintained for an employee, click on the Summary button. 
  7. To view a detailed report of all timesheets maintained for an employee, click on the Report button. 
  8. To exit CAT2, click on the Exit button or press F3 on your keyboard.
