BD23 - Details

  • SAP Tcode: BD23 - Delete serialization data

    Overview:
The SAP transaction code BD23 is used to delete serialization data from the system. Serialization data is used to track and trace products throughout the supply chain. This data is stored in the system and can be used to identify a product’s origin, destination, and other important information.

    Functionality:
The BD23 transaction code allows users to delete serialization data from the system. This can be useful when a product needs to be re-serialized or when the serialization data is no longer needed. The transaction code also allows users to delete serialization data for multiple products at once.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter the transaction code BD23 in the command field.
    2. Select the “Delete” button.
    3. Enter the serial number of the product you want to delete or select “Multiple” if you want to delete multiple products at once.
    4. Select “Execute” to delete the serialization data from the system.

    Other Recommendations:
It is important to note that deleting serialization data cannot be undone, so it is important to make sure that you are deleting the correct data before executing the transaction code. Additionally, it is recommended that users back up their serialization data before deleting it in case it needs to be restored later on.
