This includes creating new value categories, changing existing ones, and deleting obsolete ones. The value categories are used to classify objects in the PM module, such as equipment, functional locations, and maintenance plans. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code OIK3 in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new value category. 
  3. Enter a name and description for the new value category. 
  4. Select the “Save” button to save the new value category. 
  5. To change an existing value category, select it from the list and then select the “Change” button. 
  6. Make any necessary changes and then select the “Save” button to save them. 
  7. To delete an existing value category, select it from the list and then select the “Delete” button. 
  8. Confirm that you want to delete the value category by selecting “Yes” in the confirmation dialog box. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is important to note that when deleting a value category, all objects associated with it will also be deleted. Therefore, it is recommended that users take caution when deleting a value category and ensure that all associated objects are no longer needed before proceeding with deletion.
