  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code HREIC_CATEGORY is used to maintain the category catalog for the Employee Incentive Compensation (EIC) module. This code allows users to create, edit, and delete categories in the EIC system. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The HREIC_CATEGORY transaction code allows users to create, edit, and delete categories in the EIC system. This code also allows users to assign a category to a specific employee or group of employees. Additionally, users can assign a category to a specific incentive plan or group of plans. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the HREIC_CATEGORY transaction code into the SAP command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  3. Enter the name of the new category in the “Category Name” field. 
  4. Enter a description of the new category in the “Description” field. 
  5. Select “Save” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to save your changes. 
  6. To assign a category to an employee or group of employees, select “Assign Category” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  7. Select an employee or group of employees from the list and click “OK” to assign them to this category. 
  8. To assign a category to an incentive plan or group of plans, select “Assign Plan” from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
