  FMDS allows users to copy carryforward rules from one company code to another. This is done by selecting the source company code and the target company code, and then selecting the carryforward rules that need to be copied. The copied rules will then be applied to the target company code. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code FMDS in the command field. 
  2. Select the source company code from which you want to copy the carryforward rules. 
  3. Select the target company code to which you want to copy the carryforward rules. 
  4. Select the carryforward rules that you want to copy from the source company code. 
  5. Click “Copy” to copy the selected carryforward rules from the source company code to the target company code. 
  6. Click “Save” to save your changes. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is important to note that when copying carryforward rules, any existing rules in the target company code will be overwritten by the new ones being copied over. Therefore, it is recommended that users take a backup of any existing rules before copying new ones over, just in case they need to revert back at a later date.
