  The F4998 transaction code provides users with an overview of the commitments of a cost center. It displays the total amount of commitments, the amount of commitments that have been released, and the amount of commitments that are still pending. It also allows users to view the details of each commitment, such as the document number, date, and amount. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code F4998 in the command field. 
  2. Enter the cost center for which you want to view commitments. 
  3. Select “Execute” to display all commitments for that cost center. 
  4. To view details of a commitment, select it from the list and click “Details”. 
  5. To release a commitment, select it from the list and click “Release”. 
  6. To delete a commitment, select it from the list and click “Delete”. 
  7. To add a new commitment, click “New Entries” and enter the necessary information. 
  8. When finished, click “Save” to save your changes.
