  1. Enter transaction code F3670 in the command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a name for the release check variant and select “Continue”. 
  4. Select “Define Release Strategies” from the menu bar. 
  5. Enter a name for the release strategy and select “Continue”. 
  6. Select “Assign Release Strategies” from the menu bar. 
  7. Select the document type that you want to assign the release strategy to and select “Continue”. 
  8. Select “Define Fields for Release Check” from the menu bar. 
  9. Select the fields that must be filled in before a document can be released and select “Continue”. 
  10. Select “Save” from the menu
