  Overview:
  ECP_FUNCT_TYPE is a SAP transaction code used to maintain iView function types. It is used to define the type of function that an iView can perform. This transaction code is part of the Enterprise Portal component (BC-EP) and is available in SAP ECC 6.0 and higher. 
  
  Functionality: 
  ECP_FUNCT_TYPE allows users to maintain the types of functions that an iView can perform. This includes creating, changing, and deleting function types. It also allows users to assign a function type to an iView, as well as assign a default function type for all iViews. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the transaction code ECP_FUNCT_TYPE in the command field. 
  2. Select the “Create” button to create a new function type. 
  3. Enter the name of the new function type and select “Save”. 
  4. Select the “Change” button to change an existing function type. 
  5. Enter the name of the existing function type and select “Save”. 
  6. Select the “Delete” button to delete an existing function type. 
  7. Enter the name of the existing function type and select “Save”. 
  8. Select the “Assign” button to assign a function type to an iView. 
  9. Enter the name of the iView and select “Save”. 
  10. Select the “Default” button to assign a default function type for all iViews.
