  The SAP transaction code COR9 is used to maintain material types for master recipes. This transaction code allows users to define the material types that can be used in a master recipe. It also allows users to assign material types to a master recipe and to define the quantity of each material type that is required. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The COR9 transaction code provides users with the ability to maintain material types for master recipes. This includes defining the material types that can be used in a master recipe, assigning material types to a master recipe, and defining the quantity of each material type that is required. Additionally, users can view and edit existing material types and delete unused material types. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the COR9 transaction code into the SAP command field. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter the name of the material type you wish to create and select “Save”. 
  4. Select “Assign” from the menu bar and enter the name of the master recipe you wish to assign the material type to. 
  5. Enter the quantity of each material type that is required for the master recipe and select “Save”. 
  6. To view or edit existing material types, select “Display” from the menu bar and enter the name of the material type you wish to view or edit.
