    Overview:
    The SAP transaction code BD40 is used to read the change pointer for a group of documents. This transaction code is used to read the change pointer for a group of documents in order to determine which documents have been changed since the last time the change pointer was read.

    The BD40 transaction code is used to read the change pointer for a group of documents. This transaction code is used to determine which documents have been changed since the last time the change pointer was read. The change pointer is a field in the document header that indicates whether or not the document has been changed since it was last read. 
    
    Step-by-step How to Use: 
    1. Enter the transaction code BD40 in the command field. 
    2. Enter the name of the group of documents you want to read the change pointer for. 
    3. Select “Read Change Pointer” from the menu. 
    4. The system will display a list of documents that have been changed since the last time the change pointer was read. 
    5. Select the documents you want to process and click “OK”. 
    6. The system will display a confirmation message indicating that the change pointer has been successfully read for the selected documents.
