  4. Enter the new cost center in the “Target Cost Center” field. 
  5. Select the “Copy Characteristics” button to copy all of the characteristics from the source cost center to the target cost center. 
  6. Make any necessary changes to the target cost center as needed. 
  7. Select the “Save” button to save your changes and create the new cost center.
