  Check out is a process in SAP Transportation Management (TM) that allows users to reserve a shipment for a certain period of time.   To check out a shipment in SAP TM, users must first select the shipment they wish to work on. Then, they must click the “Check Out” button in the toolbar. This will lock the shipment and prevent other users from making changes to it. Once the user has finished working on the shipment, they must click the “Check In” button to unlock it and allow other users to access it.
