  Key Concepts: 
  Company role is a feature of the SAP Supplier Directory (SRM-SUD) that allows users to assign roles to suppliers. This allows users to easily identify the type of supplier and the services they provide. For example, a company role could be “manufacturer” or “distributor”. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To assign a company role to a supplier, go to the SRM-SUD Supplier Directory and select the supplier you want to assign a role to. Then, select the “Company Role” tab and select the appropriate role from the drop-down menu. Once you have selected the role, click “Save” to save your changes.

  It is important to assign accurate company roles to suppliers in order to ensure that they are properly identified and their services are accurately represented.
