What is tracking attribute in SAP SRM-EBP-CON - Contract Management?

  • Description: An attribute that is not automatically copied to the operational contract. Tracking attributes are defined for reporting purposes. For example, a business condition such as a key performance indicator may require the contract administrator to define a tracking attribute for compliance reasons.

    Tracking attributes are used in SAP SRM-EBP-CON Contract Management to track the status of a contract. They are used to store information about the contract, such as the date it was created, the date it was last modified, and the current status of the contract. 
    
    How to use it: 
    Tracking attributes can be used to quickly and easily view the status of a contract. To view the tracking attributes of a contract, go to the “Contracts” tab in SAP SRM-EBP-CON Contract Management. Select the contract you wish to view and click on “Tracking Attributes”. This will display all of the tracking attributes associated with that contract. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to keep track of your tracking attributes in order to ensure that your contracts are up-to-date and accurate. Make sure to regularly review your tracking attributes and update them as needed.
