  • Key Concepts:
Contract phaseout is a feature of SAP SRM-EBP-CON Contract Management that allows users to end contracts in a controlled manner. It allows users to define the end date of a contract and the conditions for ending it, such as the termination of all related orders and services. The phaseout process also ensures that all related documents are archived and that all relevant data is updated.

    How to use it:
To use the contract phaseout feature, users must first define the end date of the contract. This can be done by selecting the “End Date” field in the contract header. Once the end date is set, users can then define the conditions for ending the contract. This can be done by selecting the “Phaseout” tab in the contract header. Here, users can specify whether or not to terminate all related orders and services, as well as any other conditions for ending the contract.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using the contract phaseout feature, it is important to ensure that all related documents are archived and that all relevant data is updated. This will help ensure that all information related to the contract is properly stored and accessible for future reference.
