What is active in SAP SRM-EBP-CON - Contract Management?

  • Component: SRM-EBP-CON

  • Component Name: Contract Management

  • Description: 1 Object status indicating that the contract attribute or condition can be used in a contract. A contract attribute or condition is set to active by the contract owner, contract administrator, or the attribute creator. 2 Object status indicating that the contract is valid. A contract is set to active by the contract owner or other contract authors who have authorization, when the contract details are finalized. The contract remains in active status until its status is changed manually or the end-date specified in the contract is reached at which point the contract may expire or be up for renewal.

    Active is a status in SAP SRM-EBP-CON Contract Management that indicates that the contract is currently in effect and can be used for transactions. It is the opposite of inactive, which means the contract is not currently valid and cannot be used for transactions. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In SAP SRM-EBP-CON Contract Management, contracts can be set to active or inactive. To set a contract to active, go to the contract overview page and select the contract you want to activate. Then click on the “Activate” button. This will set the contract to active and it can now be used for transactions.

    When setting a contract to active, make sure that all of the information in the contract is correct and up-to-date. This will ensure that any transactions made using the contract are accurate and valid.
